Addin InfoEdit is a product developed especially to build a sophisticated (but easy to make and use) catalog for your PDF documents. Acrobat incorporates in each PDF document a series of information fields with predefined document information: title, author, key words, etc. Addin InfoEdit enables you to create new custom information fields and assign values (for example Custom Information Field 'Product' with the assigned values 'Product1', 'Product2', 'Product3'...). It is possible to create and save several lists with custom information fields and values to apply on different categories of PDF documents. This enhances you to standardize and customize the (META) document information and index the PDF documents with Acrobat Catalog by its defined information fields and values. One of the advantages is that you can perform a search like in a database. This is especially useful when the classification data do not form part of the textual content of the document.
