Synchronisation of the MIDI tracks and the CD player is checked and corrected continuously while playing. The MIDI instruments can be recorded using an external MIDI keyboard controller or the PC keyboard. Recorded notes can be edited in a piano roll or an events list. The resulting sound of MIDI instruments and CD can be recorded to a wave audio file that can be placed on a recordable audio CD. The MIDI instruments of a basic PC soundcard can be used, but features of advanced MIDI devices are supported too. For the selection of instruments, instrument defintion files (*.ins) in standard Cakewalk/Sonar format can be used. Files with system exclusive messages in standard (*.syx) format can be included in the sequence. The values of pitch and numerous controller types can be varied with sliders while recording. Wave (*.wav) files with soundeffects can be included in the sequence too.
